<B>Storing the insulin pen:</B> Store unused pens in the refrigerator. Unused pens may be used until the expiration date printed on the label if they have been kept in the refrigerator. Store insulin pens you are currently using at room temperature. Throw away any pen you are using after 14 days even if it still has insulin in it.
