A syringe consists of a tip designed to fit the hub of a needle a cylindrical barrel, and a close-fitting plunger. To keep the syringe sterile, hold only the outside of the syringe barrel and the plunger's handle. Do not touch the tip of or the inside of the barrel, the inside of the plunger, or the needle.
